INSPIRATION 

Pushpa Vatika, Raas-Leela in Vrindavan

The artworks in the Courtyard are the focal point of the house. The Courtyard artwork is an expression of Celebration and Togetherness. All other artworks in various spaces are derived from various elements of the Courtyard Artwork. The overall Language of the artworks leans more towards certain traditional Indian forms of arts or towards abstraction.

UTSAV 

Utsav is the main artwork of the house, and the elements of the artworks of all other spaces are present here.  This amalgamation of various elements depicts the celebration of the very iconic ‘Raas-Leela’ from Vrindavan, illustrated with the beautiful trees from ‘Pushpa-Vatika’.

SURYA NAMASKAR 

The ceiling of the courtyard provides a huge canvas for this beautiful artwork that is cast in concrete. The idea is to express alluring sunsets and sunrises, with a curvilinear 3D pattern representing the water body as well as a hilly formation. The 12 Mantras accompanying Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations) are also caste in the concrete.

Size : Approx. 18500 mm x 4000 mm
Technique : Invert pattern Casting in Concrete with beaten textured copper sheet used for depicting the Sun.  Lighting is also integrated with the Suns.

TORAN

This artwork is based on the traditional Hindu culture, where a ‘toran’ is a decorative hanging at the entrance of the door, to bring prosperity and welcome guests.

KALPAVRIKSHA

The Banyan tree is an expression of strong roots, portrayed in the living room to express unity, love, and the family that is deeply connected to its roots.

Technique : Artistically painted fabric with customised Zardozi work 

JAL – KAMAL

The theme of the artwork is a Lotus, which is regarded as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration, and rebirth. 

Size : Approx. 1800 mm x 600 mm
Technique : Silk fabric with batik mounted on MDF base, with CNC cut and painted MDF motifs.

KEKAAVAL

The symbol of elegance and the portrayal of gracefulness – the ‘Peacock’, is the idea of the artwork for this bedroom.

Size : 2400 mm x 600 mm

AAMRA

Mangoes being a tropical fruit, has various qualities and characteristics yet in the following artwork, it depicts the sweetness of a loving guest visiting us at home.

AUM 

‘Aum’, is a sacred sound that is known generally as the sound of the universe. The backdrop for the Aum symbol is made in many layers, giving it a depth and 3D effect.

This artwork showcases Swans as a symbol of purity, beauty, grace, love, and elegance, but it can also symbolize divination, balance, and an unending relationship with each other.

A fish symbolizes creativity, good luck, transformation, abundance, intelligence, happiness, strength, and endurance- that one would yearn for, in their daughter.

ROOPAANTAR

Derived from a Dragonfly, this artwork expresses a dragonfly’s mental and emotional maturity and the understanding of the deeper meaning of life, that is desired in daughters.
