UVS HOUSE

India has a rich textile heritage, where each region has its own speciality in terms of the techniques as well as the subjects or motifs. Expressing this richness of our textile heritage was the concept of this project.  For this, we first looked at the various techniques prevalent, then at the different motifs used in different ways in each place, and then narrows down on how we wanted to showcase a particular motif for each space and show how it has been expressed in different regions with different techniques.
